The Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (DAFF, http://www.daff.gov.au/) is making data from the Australian Plant Pest Database (APPD) available through the Atlas of Living Australia.

Contribution to the ALA

APPD is a Web-based virtual database of vital importance to the Australian agricultural industry. The APPD contains specimen based information on over a million plant pests and diseases that occur in Australia. The existence of the APPD is owed to a major collaboration between Industry, State and Federal Governments, research organisations and universities.
