The ecoEd program, of which ALA is a member, have been announced as finalists for the CAUDIT Awards. These awards are from the Council of Australasian University Directors of Information Technology and ecoEd are finalists in the category Innovation in Teaching and Learning.

ecoEd integrate digital tools for Environmental Sciences in Tertiary Education. ecoEd is a partnership between the Atlas of Living Australia (ALA), the Terrestrial Ecosystem Research Network (TERN), the Biodiversity and Climate Change Virtual Laboratory (BCCVL), ecocloud, the online platform for the ecoscience community, the Australian Bureau of Agricultural and Resource Economics and Sciences (ABARES) and the Australian Research Data Commons (ARDC). Each of these partners provide training material that is accessible online through the ecoEd website, and participate in delivering training to ecoEd Champions.
